Vegetable Soup

I know I have not updated in a while, its only because I don't have any new recipes that Ive made over the last few days! I have been eating dishes that can be found within my blog in the soups and salads section.

To be honest, I'm so drained of energy from the Gym and College...Not to mention the Cats and their need for affection 24 hrs a day, oh yeah, AND my husband...lol...Phew! My coffee no longer works as effectively as it should to wake me up. On top of all this I haven't lost anymore weight, but I know its too early to tell, but i still wish i could have lost a teeny bit more from all that running and climbing on the StairMaster and Treadmill! On top of all that "something" is wrong with my stomach. The Doctor says theres nothing wrong, but I keep getting this nauseous burning feeling and bloating in the middle of my stomach. It comes and goes in waves...I don't know what to do now that my Dr says it nothing! Drinking laban or eating yogurt seems to help, but that's not a solution.All I want to eat is cereal and milky stuff because of it, and that makes my blog suffer too!...I just hope it goes away!

I made Vegetable Soup 2 days ago for dinner but did not take pictures, so below you'll find a link to a similar recipe to the one I made. Try it out! Its delicious!


And.....Here is the cereal I eat for breakfast and sometimes dinner too. It doesnt need anything added to it but milk, unlike cornflakes that I always have to sweeten myself. It is VERY good!

I pray you feel better soon. Maybe it's just all the changes you've made... diet, more exercise, etc. Sometimes our body reacts to changes in a weird way.

And take a breaaaaaak Sultana.. :) sometimes that's the best thing we can do. (Trust me..I know all about breaks..haha)

No worries on not losing weight, don't let it discourage you. Just think.. if you are gaining muscle, and losing weight..it's not going to show on a scale. A better way to know is from how your clothes fit.

Ya Allah, please give Sultana patience and grant her a speedy recovery. Allahhumma Ameen.

Be careful Sultana. Do eat a lot of yogurt and make ginger tea. Take it from someone who has experience with stomach ailments. Farhana is right. take a break. You may need to cut back on your excercise regimene.( yes i cant spell). Doesn't mean you cant excercise every day but just lessen the amount of exertion. Remember, stress is counteractive. Its like spinning your wheels in the sand. I would say if your not feeling better in a couple of weeks then you should see your doctor again. Stomach issues are nothing to mess with.

I hope you start feeling better soon, probably all the changes you have made are making your body react...and you will lose more weight, just keep doing what you're doing :)

I will take eveyones advice as best i can seriously thank you all so much!

Im still not feeling very well and on top of that I have no spare time! A dear friend of mine and I couldnt even fit a coffee break in our days to meet up! Its very annoying that I cannot be here to chat and talk with all of my precious readers and friends, and for this I apologize...Inshallah I will be back in a short time, so please dont give up on me or my blogs!
